The Classic Space Federation were subjected to unprovoked attacks both against our colonies and an electronic attack on the Federation Information Network. During this attack, an alien computer virus penitrated Federation systems causing false claims of victories against Federation outposts.
Please rest assured that the claims were a weak attempt to cause undue panic among citizens. The attacks were easily repelled, and all Federation colonies are now back to normal. If you experience any difficulties contacting relatives in other colonies, please do not be alarmed, it is just a temporary glitch caused by damage to sattelites during the attacks.
Federation forces have traced the attack to a hidden base on Preliumtarn and are preparing to mount a counter-attack.
Our engineers are working to eliminate the virus from our network. Systems are mostly back to normal, but we would ask you to stay away from this section.
Take a look at this beauty from James Shields. We've been following the secret progress of this model for many months. Now that it's finished, it doesn't disappoint.
Nobody knows quite why the Ugokin war started, but all attempts at finding a diplomatic resolution met with disaster. The war was proving long and bloody, and with the Ugokin almost never retreating, and self-destructing rather than surrendering, any victories came at a heavy price.
The first major break for the Federation came at the battle of Solice IV. Although hardly more than a skirmish in militaristic terms, it was the capture of a Ugokin "Hunter" class starfighter intact that allowed Federation scientists to decode secrets about the Ugokin spacecraft that are still classified today.
A brave Space Marine Cyborg stands guard, blocking the way against the first of what will surely be a horde of Ugokin warriors, hoping his modified body will be strong enough to give his squad enough time to escape. Death may be certain for him, but at least if his buddies survive, he will be remembered as a hero.
Pete Reid's Cyborg is truly an awesome piece of work, demonstrating many incredible ways of connecting bricks together. like all of his amazing robots.
Another great bonus at Miniland scale from Jason Railton.
"Hey there, space cats - Ulala here coming at you live on Classic Space
Channel 5. I'm right here on Starbase 059 where the Ugokin have just
boarded the station and seized control!"
"I'm waiting for my translator to relay their demands. They're telling
everyone to get down... get... get on down! People - I think they want
to DANCE!"
Another vehicle from the amazing Nnenn stable, the Special Ops Insertion vehicle is heavily armoured and able to carry troops to the most dangerous locations.
Only after losing all the Kronum colonies, did Federation forces discover a weakness in the most heavy armored Ugokin ground unit: an underside orifice housed directly beneath the weapons column. Good luck marines...
Doctor Sinister has created a fantastic little vignette.
Penetrating the Ugokin Command Centre had been relatively easy...until Potter and Mandella came up against the fearsome Ugokin Filing Clerk...
Dr S. says: With apologies to, and with the kind permision of Nnenn - creator of the Ugokin who have made appearances in connection with the NeoClassicSpace March Project.
Another bonus from Nnenn, the LL-711 Bomber displays some fantastic angles and impressive guns.
A little more of the Ugokin threat is also revealed.
With the Ugokin threat mounting on Federation borders, something needed to be done to beef up defences. The RTN-44 Missile Jeep was just one of a series of measuers to assure colonists that they would be protected.
When the Ugokin Devastators appear on the horizon, they proved to be the only effective defense.
I promise I'll try not to post more than one bonus entry per day, but today I just couldn't decide which to pick, so here's a bonus bonus from that most prolific builder, Nnenn.
Federation xenopologists now understand that initial conflicts might have been avoided if military personal were never exposed to the subliminal indoctrination of assumed superiority during training. But the Ugokin are still unintelligible, so who knows...
